Help support Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve! We’re grateful to our generous members who help us carry on our mission to protect Edgewood’s extraordinary biodiversity and foster lasting connections with Edgewood and the larger natural world.
Financial support helps fund critical habitat restoration efforts, the running of the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center, and interpretive programs including Junior Explorers and our popular Spring Wildflower Hikes.
Friends of Edgewood is a 501(c)3 public benefit corporation funded by member donations, other donations, and sales proceeds. We are an all-volunteer organization. That means 100% of your donation goes to support our preservation, restoration, and education programs, not staff salaries. Our federal EIN (Employer Identification Number) is 94-3188191.
Your tax-deductible donation will help us to:
- Restore beautiful and sensitive native plant ecosystems and species.
- Protect the threatened Bay checkerspot butterfly and other wildlife species.
- Research ways we can mitigate the impacts of climate change on the landscape.
- Support nature education and interpretation programs at Edgewood for all people.
- Preserve Edgewood so it will be a resilient place of extraordinary biodiversity that is appreciated and protected forever.
By becoming a member of Friends of Edgewood, you’ll be joining a group of environmental stewards who share your commitment to protecting one of our area’s best natural preserves.
You can become a Friends of Edgewood member by making an annual donation in any amount. Members are the first to learn about special activities and Edgewood updates. Members are also invited to our well-loved General Meeting event each October.
We are happy for any donation you can make!
