Parking & Restrooms
There are three entrances to the park. Restrooms and a designated parking area are only available at the main entrance. Street parking is available near the west Edgewood Trailhead and the Clarkia trailhead. There are no restrooms at the trailhead entrances.
Directions
There are three park entrances with parking available: the main entrance on Edgewood Road, west Edgewood Trailhead and Clarkia Trailhead.
Main Entrance and Bill and Jean Lane Education Center
From I-280, take the Edgewood Road exit 29. Turn east toward the bay and continue on Edgewood Road for about 1 mile. Turn right into the parking lot.
From Hwy 101, take the Whipple Ave exit and turn west toward the mountains. Continue on Whipple about 1.5 miles to the stoplight at Alameda de las Pulgas and turn right. At the next light, turn left onto Edgewood Road. Continue on Edgewood about 2 miles and then turn left into the parking lot.
West Edgewood Trailhead
From I-280, take the Edgewood Road exit 29. Turn west toward the mountains and continue on Edgewood Road about 0.4 mile. Park near the intersection of Cañada Road. Find the trailhead on the south side of Edgewood Road.
From Hwy 101, take the Whipple Ave exit and turn west toward the mountains. Continue on Whipple about 1.5 miles to the light at Alameda de las Pulgas and turn right. At the next light, turn left onto Edgewood Road. Continue on Edgewood about 3 miles until the road ends at a tee intersection with Cañada Road. Park near the intersection of Cañada Road. Find the trailhead on the south side of Edgewood Road.
Clarkia Trailhead
From I-280, take the Edgewood Road exit 29. Turn west toward the mountains and continue until Edgewood Road ends at a tee intersection with Cañada Road. Turn left onto Cañada and look for the trailhead on the left shortly after passing under I-280.
From Hwy 101, take the Whipple Ave exit and turn west toward the mountains. Continue on Whipple about 1.5 miles to the light at Alameda de las Pulgas and turn right. At the next light, turn left onto Edgewood Road. Continue on Edgewood about 3 miles until the road ends at a tee intersection with Cañada Road. Turn left onto Cañada and look for the trailhead on the left shortly after passing under I-280.
