Each week, docents walk through the park and take note of the native flowers that are in bloom as well as any birds, animals, or interesting insects that they see. For each native plant or animal spotted, they post a photo on the blooming board. This board is situated outside the Education Center when the center is open, and it is easily visible through the main entrance doors when the center is closed. The board is handy for checking what you are likely to see before going on a hike, or identifying native plants and animals that you saw during your hike.
The weekly wildflower survey of plants in bloom can be found here.
