Junior Explorers Planning Sheet

Thank you for your interest in the Junior Explorer program at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve. To request a hike or more information, please fill out this form and click on the Submit button. Your request will be automatically emailed to JuniorExplorers-coordinator@friendsofedgewood.org. You will typically receive a response within two business days.

Contact Information Please provide contact information for coordinating this visit.

Group Size We like to have a high ratio of docents to children when we go out on the trail: no more than 4 or 5 children per docent up to 3rd grade, 6 through middle school, and 8 in high school. There must be one responsible adult available to go with each docent.

Visit dates. Give us as many date choices as you can so we have more chance to accommodate you. List only the dates you know will work for your group. Please allow a minimum of three weeks for us to plan your event.

Visit Time. Visits typically take 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the group’s age and abilities. Our most popular times for field trips are mornings between 9:00 and noon, but if another time works better for you, we can adjust.

We must leave by this time
